Paris

Me, Doug and Luke ran away to Paris for the weekend during one of the busiest few weeks of our second year. Definitely was not the most well educated decision, but it was totally worth it. Oscar Wilde's grave is covered in kisses and the teenagers drink red wine on the bridges at night.

  1. I really can't stand Oscar Wilde, I wish he had kept his snobbish aphorisms to himself.

"Work is the curse of the drinking classes".

We can't all be professional dandies you know Oscar.

He is like a cross between Sebastien Horsley and Stephen Fry. Arrogant, snobbish, smug, self satisfied and a concieted moralist at the same time brash, decadent, crass and public schooled. Worst of all he probably called himself an artist or a bohemian as if it was his divine right.

Sounds like you had a good trip to Paris though.
